Experience
After graduation from The University of South Dakota Springfield in 1984 with an Associates Degree in Architecture, Jim Schramm apprenticed for 10 years before becoming a licensed architect. In 2006, Jim founded Schramm Architects, LLC located in historic downtown Yankton, South Dakota. Jim is currently a registered architect in the states of South Dakota and Nebraska.
With over 30 years experience, Jim offers clients a wide array of architectural services including: commercial, educational, health care facilities, institutional, municipal, religious, and residential.
Community Involvement
Jim is an active supporter of the Yankton, South Dakota community with involvement in: Yankton Progressive Growth, Yankton Area Arts Association, Yankton Chamber of Commerce, Historic Downtown Yankton Association, Habitat for Humanity of Yankton County (Past President), Yankton High School Booster Club (Past President), Yankton Homeless Shelter, United Way, Sacred Heart Church.
